NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM
As one of faculty attempt in realizing university vision and missions, then community service program is held both in national and international areas. It is necessary to be realized by doing preliminary activities in the form of collaborations of national and international.
Community service program is one of the form of society service, meanwhile society service is one of Tri Dharma or main duty of university beside Dharma of research and Dharma of education.
The area that will be the place of implementation of community service program is determined by UIR Islamic faculty through consultation and coordination with local government, namely :
1. The sub-district in Riau Province
2. The sub-district in Sumatera Barat Province
3. County in Malaysian state and Thailand
TEACHING INTERN PROGRAM OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM & INTERN PROGRAM OF SYARIAH ECONOMIC STUDY PROGRAM INTERNATIONAL
1. Teaching Intern Program
Teaching intern program is learning activity given to students as prospective subjects teachers, supervising teachers and administrative staff to practice gradually and systematically in getting know the professional and implement cognitive, affective and psychomotor ability that have been mastered through lecture activity into educational institution.
The place of teaching intern is school that has been accredited at least B by BAN-SM. The school consists of elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, vocational high school and some schools in Malaysia.
2. Intern Program
Intern program in Syariah Business is education and training at the same time which programmed to build student skills and proficiency to enter the field work.The places of intern are Syariah Bank, Syariah pawnshop, Syariah insurance, BAZNAZ, Rumah Zakat and other institution in Malaysia.
