Services
Community service is an activity that aim on assist certain community with several activities without expecting the rewards in any form. Commonly this program has planned by several university or institute in Indonesia to provide tangible contribution for Indonesian people, especially on developing prosperity and progress for Indonesia. Community service activities constitute of one Tri Dharma College parts.
College should have obliged to organize the research and service to the community in addition on implementing the education as mandated on Constitution Number 20 Year 2003 about National Education System Chapter 20. In line with this obligations, Constitution Number 12 Year 2012 about Higher Education Chapter 45 has affirmed that research in college is directed to develop educational science and technology, and improve the social welfare and national competitiveness. On the chapter likewise being affirmed that academics activities on do regularly and civilize knowledge and technology culture for public welfare further and enlighten the life of nation.
Furthermore in chapter 1 Regulations of The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of The Republic of Indonesia Number 44 Year 2015 about Higher Education National Standard likewise mentioned that Higher Education National Standard, is standard unit that comprise Education National Standard, added with Research National Standard, and Service National Standard to the Community. Within the chapter as well explained that Research National Standard and Service towards Community is the minimum criteria about research system and service to community in college which applies in all jurisdictions the Unitary State of The Republic of Indonesia.
