Preparation Meeting for Field Assessment of Sharia Banking Study Program, FAI UIR, Held in FAI Hall

The Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) at the University of Riau (UIR) held a preparatory meeting for the field assessment of the Sharia Banking Study Program on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. This activity took place in the FAI Hall on the 2nd floor from 9:00 a.m. until completion, as a strategic step to ensure that all aspects of the study program’s readiness for the field assessment ran optimally.

The meeting was attended by UIR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Admiral, SH., MH, FAI Dean Prof. Dr. H. Hamzah, M.Ag, as well as Vice Rectors I, II, and III. In addition, representatives from various UIR units that play an important role in supporting the completeness of documents, systems, and academic and non-academic services that are part of the assessment were also present.

In his speech, FAI Dean Prof. Dr. H. Hamzah, M.Ag said that the field assessment is an important moment to demonstrate the quality of education, study program management, and the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation, team solidarity, and a common perception among all parties so that preparations can run effectively and purposefully.

Meanwhile, UIR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Admiral, SH., MH, in his remarks, commended FAI’s readiness to welcome the field assessment. The Rector emphasized that the success of the assessment is not only the responsibility of the study program but also the shared responsibility of all university components.
